We just wanted to update you on a few things:-
Village Hall Bookings– the village hall is now trialling an online booking system for the main hall.
The hall bookings and hall availability can now be viewed on our live bookings spreadsheet on the village hall website, https://www.blymhill-westonvillagehall.co.uk/bookings/
We hope you will find it useful and in addition, you can now make a booking request for the main hall direct from the link above.
All you have to do, is click on the cross at the top right-hand corner of the appropriate day and complete the online form including details of any special requirements, such as if the hall bar or the members lounge is required for your event.
When a booking has been requested, you will get an email acknowledgement of your request and subsequently (when checked by the bookings admin), the booking and hire fee will be confirmed, subject to payment of a deposit. An invoice can also be emailed to you. Full instructions on how to book online are available to download at the bottom of the bookings page.
We can still take bookings via hard copy forms if needs be, which are in the hall entrance or can be downloaded from the bottom of Hire page on the hall website.
As most of you are aware, Di Dabbs has been the hall bookings secretary for many years, but has decided now is the time to hand the bookings diary over to someone else in the next month or so.
Huge thanks to Di for doing the hall bookings for these many years. Don’t worry though, Di isn’t going anywhere, she is still very much involved with the village hall but just wants to do a little less.
Your new contact for hall booking queries will be advised in due course.

This year rather than sending our renewals via the post and spending money on paper, envelopes & stamps, we are trialling an online membership form with various payment options, (secure online card payment, bank transfer or cash over the social club bar). We will still have hard copy forms in the village hall entrance available for completion.

This is what cinema is supposed to be! Amazing chemistry and acting by both leads, seamless CGI and practical effects to enhance the film, a firecracker script, a true story, pulse pounding soundtrack, booming sound mix, and edited so well that 2.5 hours flies by! Completely and utterly engaging .
Rosie’s Quiz – this annual charity fundraiser quiz returns. Put the date in your diary
