Driver caught at almost twice the speed limit in Newport

The man was stopped by police after being clocked at 58mph in a 30mph zone on Station Road, Newport.
Newport’s safer neighbourhood team said on Twitter: “‘Late for work’ is never an excuse for excess speed.”
