Growing Pub chain Black Country Ales has reached its milestone 40th site by snapping up a Newport pub.
The Railway Tavern on Upper Bar will close for a five-figure refurbishment in the new year and reopen as a BCA real ale pub.
Managing Director Angus McMeeking said, “It will be a pub with no gimmicks – just good beer and a good choice of beers.”
BCA’s 39th pub is The Harp in Albrighton which is also undergoing a complete refurbishment before it reopens in the new year.
