Support Telford’s Breakfast Parcels for Children
Written by Harvey Williamson on November 25, 2020
It’s hard to believe that in 2020 children can still go hungry: many need Free School Meals in term time, and help during holidays.
Telford & Wrekin Council, is determined that no child here should go hungry and are working with partners in the community to provide a free breakfast parcel to local children who receive Free School Meals.
These parcels, funded by the Council are vital and give children, a great start to the day, they give youngsters’ bodies and brains the food they need to develop, learn and play.
We know this is a cause close to many and local residents have asked how they can donate. Here’s how you can help.
With your support, at the end of term each breakfast parcel can include an added extra, something to put a smile on a child’s face and make their breakfast that extra bit special. If you could make a donation – large or small, it all makes a difference.
