Al Tucker presents Saturday afternoons and the Sunday Morning Breakfast show on Nova FM. Starting at 8am, Al Tucker will ensure your Sunday morning gets off to a great start, with some easy listening to ease you into your day. Add to that the the usual mix of local news and community information, Al Tucker will do his best to entertain you.

Originally from Cambridge, I have lived and worked in Shropshire for the past 25 years. I started D.J.ing in social club discos at RAF Stations while serving in the Royal Air Force. Whilst serving in Hong Kong I presented a regular Saturday show on British Forces Broadcasting Service and participated in linkups to U.K radio stations. On return to the U.K. I joined the Showtime Radio group, presenting shows during Showtime’s numerous RSL’s until its unsuccessful bid for a full time license for Telford. I have been one of the voices of the Radio Cosford at the Cosford Airshow for the past 15yrs and involved with Radio Nova from the start as a studio engineer and presenter.

My main taste in music is Soul, Motown, R&B and a little Jazz. My favourite artists are Luther Vandross & Stevie Wonder, but I like & play most types of music.
